boogieman
In the April '15 issue of Hemmings Classic Car magazine, on page 39, there is a reference to the Avanti. "Probably the most famous resurrected car is the Avanti" as quoted by Pat Foster. Not much but there it is.
Gunslinger
In a column some time back Foster wrote that the Avanti was probably the first "continuation car". While he's basically an AMC aficionado, Pat Foster is big on Studebakers and Avantis and independents in general. He usually has a vendor's table at York to sell his various books as well as others. Talk to him if you can...he's a good guy...for old cars in general and not just our favorite.
boogieman
I've been reading his column for years. The guy knows more automotive trivia than an episode of "Jeopardy". I commend his taste regarding Avanti's.
