jvespey Posted January 8, 2015 Report Posted January 8, 2015 A friend sent me these photos of an Avanti key chain that I had never seen before. Has anyone ever seen it before? I've asked him for details about it, and if he can get more, but not yet heard back from him.
Gunslinger Posted January 8, 2015 Report Posted January 8, 2015 I've occasionally seen them on eBay. They're likely a promotional item done aftermarket by a vendor like other key fobs. Maybe back in the day a dealer had some done. I have several Avanti items I've no idea where they were made or by whom or for what reason. Neat stuff is neat stuff regardless of its provenance.

jvespey Posted January 9, 2015 Author Report Posted January 9, 2015 Further update - story is that these were made for Avanti sometime in the early 80s and the supplier never got paid. The guy who has them now is the son of now deceased owner of that supplier, long since out of business. He's getting me a count of what he has available.
