bigdaddy
Just a guess.........2. 60% stronger.
AnAvantiR1for Bob
I'd say 10% less because the Avanti roll bar was not as structurally integrated as most roll bars are (usually a welded cage).
mfg
bigdaddy & AnAvantiR1for Bob......I would have also guessed either of your answers.......But according to an article about '63 Avantis in an issue of 'AUTOMOBILE TOPICS', the Avanti built in roll bar was/is "140% stronger than the minumum requirement set by the United States Auto Club for roll bars"! .....(Good PR man?)
