Anniversary of Studebaker Closing – Dec. 20, 2013

DECEMBER 20, 2013

- Free admission to the public all day

- Light refreshments will be served

- New exhibit opening: “Studebaker: Preserving the Past, Pursuing the Future”

(see attached Word document for brief description of this exhibit)

- Facebook 50-day countdown (began Oct. 20) – daily posts of photos, questions,

remembering (these are actually very cool!)

- Recorded Memories – We would like to concentrate on former employees, but will

accept video-recorded memories from anyone: 90 seconds each. To become part of our

permanent Archives collection, looped in our visitor lobby area, possibly used in future

exhibits, etc.

- Scavenger Hunt – Those who get all answers correct will be eligible to win a Studebaker

National Museum tee-shirt!

- The Museum will be decorated for the holidays; our 1950 Champion convertible will be decorated and available for great Christmas photo ops.

If you would like to interview former employees, please contact me for specific contact info.

Activities are also being scheduled at Studebaker’s former body assembly plant, Building 84. Please contact Kevin Smith for details.

Anniversary events will continue into 2014.
