Battery Connections

I know this sounds odd, but I am taking my 1973 Avanti II out of mothballs after 12 years and after putting the battery in I was trying to remember if this system is positive ground or negative ground. Both cables are old replacements and are both black.

So...do I ground the negative post to the block or the positive? Jeez, I hate getting older and forgetful.

The car is negative ground. Ground cable to the engine block.
