How did you get the filter out of the tube that protrudes from the firewall? I can't get mine out.

I need the outer window seal for an 89 Avanti. SI has them thru 1983, but not 89. Is the 89 door that different from the 83? Also who might have them, if not SI, and has anyone substituted "cat wiskers", for the rubber seal that is supposed to the used? >NEW INFORMATION: I also need a boot for the convertible top which I exect to have made at a top shop. If anyone has picutres of how the boot is snapped down, I would appreciate seeing them. There are only two snaps on each side of the interior and that does not appear to be adequate. I would expect to see snaps on the curved exterior trim piece at the top of the rear trunk area, but instead that trim piece is secured with counter sink set screws.

Did anyone answer you on the boot cover?? I have an 89 convertible. If you send me a note I will send you pictures of my cover, and how it attaches.

I too need the outer window seal and am going to buy the Restoration Specialties item YMR255X Their catalog Page 14, and see how that works.
