About Me
In addition to my 71 Avanti, I have a 1962 Studebaker GT Hawk show car that I am proud of. It is a regular trophy winner in local events. It has the Chevy 350 crate motor with performance cam, and the TH700R4 overdrive transmission.
I just recently purchased the Avanti, and have not decided on whether to make it into a show car or just a cruise car. I guess the only difference is in the money. I try to do most of the work on the car myself, but at 78, working uder the car is really limited. But I still enjoy doing what I can.
