  1. I chatted with Linda at Myers today, and sent pics of my existing horn setup. She thinks the column is an AMC. I looked on Grant steering wheel website, and found an AMC adapter that I believe will work. I hope to confirm everything tomorrow. Thanks much for the feedback.
  2. How can I determine?
  3. I know it's a tilt Saginaw, but not sure about impact absorbing.
  4. The reason I am asking is I am replacing the steering wheel, and can't find the right adaptor to connect the horn. The parts supplied with the steering wheel won't connect to the tilt column on my '72. I left a message with the supplier over a week ago, but no reply.
  5. MFG, do you know what specific vehicle the tilt steering columns in the Altman cars came out of? Mine is a '72 model.
  6. Any chance that you can provide some pics of those linkage rods and gear sensors?
  7. Thanks much. This is a huge help.
  8. Does anyone have pics that they will post here showing using the linkage available thru nostalgic ,and installed, for the 200 4r?
  9. Thanks much Adam. I will have to do a little studying on these pics.
  10. I have not. Would be very appreciative of pics. Thanks
  11. Thanks for your insight.
  12. I know Dan does. But I would like actual installation photos.
  13. I recently had a 2004R installed in my '72 Avanti, by a reputable mechanic in my area. I supplied the kit from Nostalgic with their linkage rods. For some reason, he could not get the linkage right to pull the shifter into first or second gear. Will someone please provide pics that show the correct installation.
  14. Does anyone know as to whether a cross reference chart has ever been created, specifically one that will give the aftermarket parts numbers for Avanti parts that will fit our cars? I have a '72, and am looking for brake shoes/pads. A cross reference chart would really be handy to have on hand.
  15. That's a very nice looking Avanti. Great job.
  16. Pete, I am interested in getting that bumper. And trying to work out getting up your way from Raleigh, NC.
