Thanks Stacey. I will try to struggle with it again, Wish there was a "fix" for this.

My 1987 convertible does not close properly. The latch is about 3/4" short of r reaching the reciever above the windshield. Is there any way to adjust the support system to make it close easier or is there an adjustment on the top motor, or ??? I would really appreciate any assistance as it is really frustrating not to be able to close the top. Thanks, Bob

I need to replace the driver's side convertible top latch on my 1987 Avanti II. Does anyone know of a aa possible source or how to rebuild mine? Thanks, Bob
