  1. Trying to convert my 63 switches to these newer switches and all the wiring is gone from the car so I a recreating this from scratch. Do you know which terminal on each switch goes to which wire? I believe for the fan switch the B terminal is Power In (from the battery), the M terminal is Power Out (to the fan motor) and the O terminal is ground. The temperature switch terminals are labeled O and L. I believe one of these goes to the compressor and the other goes to the fan switch but I don't know which is which. Thanks, Tom
  2. Thanks for the info and good luck with the rest of your build!
  3. Thanks for the information. Are you using this for both Heat and Cool or just Cool? Did it come with a wiring diagram to help with the install? Tom
  4. This is great, I am wondering which evaporator unit you went with. You are right there are so many to choose from out there. I am also considering getting a modern evaporator unit for my build. Thanks, Tom
  5. I have my entire interior apart so while I am not sure if you can take out the evaporator on the passenger side. Having said that it sure seems like that would be possible. Disconnect the wiring, the two upper supports, remove the A/C hoses and remove the drain hose. That is all holding it place.
  6. Took apart my A/C Evaporator Housing so I can clean and paint it in preparation for reinstalling. Discovered this pattern of a rubberized insulation on the bottom with a clear channel leading to the drain. I dripped some water on the area and it beads up pretty well on the insulation and eventually makes it way to the clear area and the drain. Just wondering if this is factory or did someone along the way modify this along the way and I should remove it. Thanks for any assistance, Tom I will remove and replace the Dum Dum along the edge used to seal the unit when back together.
  7. This is exactly what I was looking for, thank you so very much! Tom
  8. Anyone have a picture of the bracket (1305-9) for tilt steering? Also the dimensions of the bracket? I am making one for my car as one component to help stabilize the electric steering setup. Thanks for any assistance, Tom
  9. Looks really nice!
  10. Installed my electric fan after doing some fabrication work. The fan is a Spal 30102049 16" High Performance Fan and the brackets are from Vivid Racing (https://www.vividracing.com/-p-151580481.html?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAm4WsBhCiARIsAEJIEzURgwM9W4Sbnl3ywYQ-k7V1u-H5Hlbx_pc9h3pc2_MGnjRKAy9CcgUaApMVEALw_wcB). The brackets are aluminum and had to be cut, bent and welded to fit the upper part of the aluminum radiator. All the hardware to bolt this up is stainless steel and the nuts are all nylon locking so hopefully it will stay together! Took a lot of looking around but this Spal fan clears the engine. I also got the relay kit and will connect this to my Sniper so it can control the fan. I also plan on installing the stock horseshoe shroud. When the time comes she should be a cool running Avanti. Tom
