  1. Thanks I got it out accessing the nuts without taking the seat out - one nut is going to be impossible to get back in the other I did. Thanks Question?????? Does the speedometer have an electrical sensor in addition to the cable ?
  2. I found a loose speedometer ground wire after I changed out the gauge light bulbs. Can I ground it to the bracket that holds the speedometer gauge in or does it need to go somewhere else? I think the bracket just rests against the fiberglass dash so not sure if that is a good ground? The gauge light works. Please help the unknowing ( smile) Thanks A83
  3. I need to disconnect this cable to get the speedometer gauge out. Does it screw in or snap in and how do I remove it? I believe only the light and cable need to be disconnected correct? Is there any special way it reconnects? I don't want to screw it up. Thanks for any help. A83
  4. Thanks -shouldn’t I be able to pull the guage out completely ? Is there a wrong way to put it back in? Thank you
  5. Finally got all the Led lights in the dash. A bulb did fall in the speedometer gauge and may take it out but leaving it in for now. The second bulb I put in it works. It shouldn't cause a problem should it? Lights not real bright but at least they are red. About as bright as the 1969 Avanti I had when I was much younger. Anyway I am happy they are red and I do appreciate all your help. Thanks Regards A83

  8. I did remove the gauge and got the bulb out Can anyone give me the size of the two bases? Also if the lights all run on one circuit does it matter for example if I confuse the bulbs for the oil and fuel gauges?
  9. In regard to the above it seems that this base is different from the others as the bulb won't seat right - would I need a bulb with a different base ? Or a new base ?
