mfg Posted July 30, 2017 Report Posted July 30, 2017 I finished up a small Avanti-related project yesterday......, Over the past couple months I've been working on my '83 'Blake' Avanti. (RQB-3655).......... engine & transmission 'tune-up', some needed brake work, and a compete paint job,.. changing the color from a bleached out white to a fairly nice looking (my opinion) Chrysler 'Tapestry Red Metallic'. Last week I overhauled (new bushings) a spare upper control arm, and just yesterday installed it along with new front shocks.....VIOLA!...no more squeaks!! It's amazing how much can be accomplished on these cars if you don't get overwhelmed!.... Just attack one issue at a time...finish it...and then move on! Will be driving this 'everyday driver' Avanti again very soon!! (mileage now at approx 350K)
