I know that for most cars, 1974 was the last year you could run leaded fuel in a car. Here in Kalifornia, 1975 was the first year for cat converters so you had to use unleaded fuel - so I'll say 1975.

Yes, WELL DONE!....1975 WAS the first year those fuel stickers were applied to Avantis!........(answer...FALSE!)
