mfg Posted January 1, 2017 Report Share Posted January 1, 2017 During production, defects in the exterior paint finish of Studebaker Avantis were identified by...............1) Chalk marks.........2) notation on supervisor's clipboard.......3) little pieces of black tape.....or........4) entire panel outlined with masking tape for a re-do ? (o[]o) No doubt an Avanti needing paint work was noted on a clipboard, but the way the 'exact' defect spot on the car was identified was with a small piece of black tape!....Answer..#3!
