Kind of hard to describe how a healthy Paxton blower should turn over!.....Although there should be a fair amount of resistance when turning the pulley by hand,

it's important that the pulley turns smoothly, with absolutely no abrupt 'stops' or 'ratcheting' while rotating it.

Any roughness whatsoever means the supercharger needs to come apart for service!

Yeah, it is crunchy, so needs to be rebuilt again! I thought was the one thing I didn't have to work on with this car. It is a Pandora's box of problems! Thanks for the info, appreciate it!
