Hi--I recently purchased a 1963 R1, and I'm slowly taking care of a number of fairly minor issues that I've discovered. My latest project is tightening the rear quarter windows. I can pop them open with their hinged latches, but above like 35 mph the wind pressure blows them closed again. Years ago I had a similar problem with a Studebaker Hawk, and I was never able to fix it. I tried silicon seal on the pivot point, bending the latch a bit with a pair of pliers, etc.

I suspect this is a common problem, but I can't find any posts on this forum about how to correct it. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Steve
