I have an 89 Avanti and am trying to put 18 inch wheels on the rear.  Struggling to find the right offset so the tire does not protrude past the fender well.  If anyone has done this with an 89 I would like to hear from you.

Another question regarding an 89, does anyone know where the fog lights were sourced or what make they are?

There is a devise called a Wheel Fitment and Simulator tool.

It allows a tire shop to mount this in a tire of any size apply to your car and determine back spacing and off set.

Your local tire shop should have one.
