mfg Posted January 10, 2015 Report Share Posted January 10, 2015 If there are two holes on the linkage side of an '81 Avanti carburetor accelerator pump arm, installing the actuating rod into the----?---- hole will give a 'stronger' shot of fuel.........................1) Inner.......2) Outer..? bigdaddy Posted January 11, 2015 Report Share Posted January 11, 2015 The most inboard hole on almost any carb's accelerator pump arm will make the accelerator pump move quicker,. Not sure off the top of my head what the'81 had for carburation, ( think it's a QJ). Without running back to the shop to check a QJ, I'll say # 1 inner.
