mfg
The 1963 Studebaker Avanti shared a distinct safety feature with one other 1963 Studebaker passenger car model. 1) Can anyone name what this safety feature was?... and... 2) What was the name of the one other '63 Studebaker passenger car sharing this same safety feature with the Avanti? mfg
Safety padded dash. Granturisimo Hawk. Excellent guess!...and you're not wrong...but the Lark line also had what was claimed to be a 'safety padded dash'. However, this question really concerns the Avanti, and only ONE other '63 Studebaker passenger car model sharing this same safety feature...not a feature shared by the entire '63 Studebaker passenger car line. HINT....think of body design!
