This is kind of a loaded question, because "most" automatic transmissions of the era have similarities. Just my opinion, but to me the powershift is a brother to Fords Cruise-o-matic or FMX. Must be a BW thing! But I'll say TRUE !

It really is a 'loaded' question......because '63-'64 Studebaker 6 cyl. cars used a completely different, lighter, two speed transmission based on the two speed Fordomatic (Think 6cyl. Falcon!) Answer to this question is FALSE.
