adamderosa Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 We know that the Studebaker Bendix disc brake design was based on the Dunlop design already in use on other cars, such as the early series E-type Jaguar, and that the pads and calipers will interchange. But, does anyone know if the discs themselves will also interchange? I'm looking at some replacement dics from a Jaguar supplier, and they're pretty cheap. (It's just the disc; the hub and wheel studs would have to be pressed in from an old disc). Has anyone ever investigated this? Here's what I'm looking at: http://www.terrysjag...rs/C23484X.html
kramerdad1 Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 According to Bob at avanti restorations and dan at nostalgic motors all the calipers and discs were the same up to around 83 or 84. I have two good used rotors (lots of meat left) if you want to buy them.
