The very 1st production Studebaker Avanti is being scheduled for restoration!

Avanti serial #1001, with body #101 was the 1st production Studebaker Avanti and is a factory R2 Supercharged Model, with 4 speed transmission.

This historic car is waiting to be restored to its former glory for the new LeMay Museum being constructed in Tacoma WA (Scheduled to open by the end of this year).

After inspecting the Avanti we have determined the car to be very restorable but needing a great deal of parts replaced, or rebuilt.

The level of restoration will be determined by the amount of parts and donation's for the car.

Once we bring the car to Bellingham, we will also need help researching it's past history and input for it's display at the new Museum in Tacoma, WA.

It will provide great Avanti exposure and we will update everyone on its progress.

Anyone donating funds, parts, or labor will be acknowledged for helping restore this historic Avanti.

The car deserves a very nice show quality restoration and will be restored to original, as specified when it was first produced.

If donations are limited, only a cosmetic restoration will be made for display.

All donations are tax deductable and you can help sponsor part, or all of this project (Pay Pal is also available).

Please review any parts needed that you may donate, or if you would like to contribute needed funding for the project at:

Thanks,

James Bell
