'63 white wall - width

I've seen several past posts about white wall width - seem to indicate 1 inch as correct width for '63. Based on '63 magazine photos I've seen, I question whether one inch is correct. What says the Forum?

Yes, it's 1"..but I've alse read that 3/4" would also be correct.

At least I can easily get 3/4" tiires without going the expensive "Vintage" route.
