Original Battery and Tire Brands

Was Willard the original battery brand name or if not what was. What brand tires came on or were offered on the original Avanti's. How wide a whitewall or blackwalls? Thanks.

As I understand it, Willard was the original battery. I don't know for sure who made the tires, but Sear Allstate did a promotion with them, so they may have supplied some. http://www.theavanti.com/allstate_ad.htm

Another GUESS would be Firestone, they did a lot of OEM tires back then.

I'd like to know the definative answer.

One thing I'm sure about...WW should be 1".

UPDATE: I asked this question on the SDC site..and was told (by a person that usually knows the answers) that two suppliers he knows of were Allstate and Firestone.
