I own and For Sale is a 1989 Avanti Silver Anniversary Limited Edition (Only 25 Produced) Coupe. This is an original 1963 Avanti R1 and the only Avanti that was reproduced to be an identical match to the 1989 SA LE Avanti by the Youngstown Avanti Motors Corp. facility in 1990. Mr. Larry Gentile, Production Manager performed the majority of the reproduction body, interior and mechanical work at a cost of $33,588.

Avanti is The only American sports car ever to win the title of Car of the Year and break the Bonneville Salt Speed Record of 176MPH driven by Andy Granatelli in 1964.

The Avanti consistently remained the most expensive production Studebaker to be admired on the road.
