rwolak
Just purchased a 1976 Avanti II and noticed, what I'll call, it has a "lazy tach". The tach seems to very slowly follow changes in the rpms of the motor. I can have the car idling, stab the gas, and the tach will slowly move up to 3000-3500 rpm. Then, as the rpms are reduced, it slowly drops. Is this a sign of a faulty sender? Thanx, in advance, for any responses.
Charlie Kile
Sounds more like the tach head needs cleaning. CharlieRQB3921

Charlie Kile
If the car was previously owned by a smoker, it is a very real possibility. Charlie RQB3921
