What model year did Avanti Motors depart from using a continuous run of Serial Numbers that started with -0001 in 1965?

I would say when they transitioned to the RQB series which jumped a bunch of numbers when it started in the 1970 model year. I believe the "B" series started with RQB1500.

If Gunslinger's answer is incorrect, (and it probably isn't), could it be after the move to Youngstown? ( 1987 production)

I think that the RBQ series started with 1501, but that is not the answer that I am looking for.

The move to Youngstown during the 1987 model year did not create a break in S/N's.

I don't know if all the paperwork and documentation I have will give the correct answer...but I'm about 2500 miles away from it and won't be home before next week to look it up. Hopefully someone else can give the correct answer.

1970 model year started with RQA-0315.

1969 model year ended with RQA-0313.

Gunslinger wuld have been correct if he just stopped at the 1970 model year and didn't incorrectly qualify his answer with the change from RQA to RQB.
