Hood rattle & movement fix

I got tired of the shake rattle of the hood. The movement was hard on the fiberglass hinge mounts too. Purchased Aerocatch Plus Flush Hood Latches .

The installation took about 6 hours but I'm slow and even had help.

Bob, those look great. I've never really gotten my hood to sit right. Will you be in Dover? I'd like to see all the mods you've done in person. thx

Sorry not going to Dover. Could send pictures of the under hood pins. The battery was the only problem. Moved it over a little.

I used black electrical tape around the rollers. The hood is nice and tight.

The hood on my 2006 doesn't sit right. It rests on the windshield washer nozzles, which stick up about 1/4 inch too high. Anyone else have this problem and/or a solution? Thanks.
