Repair broken 1987 frame covers

On the Avanti I just purchased the plastic covers under the doors that hide the frame were broke in 2 pieces on one side & three pieces on the other, also the PO had white paint splashed on one side. These pictures show how I repaired them.

Thanks for the info on your repair of the frame covers. I'm getting ready to repair mine. Lucky for me that my Avanti is black. I've decided to use black plastic panel holders instead of rivets. I'll let you know how they work, they should look better than rivets.
