Glove Box felt

This topic has been discussed before but I wanted to share my opinions on a new item from S-I for 63-83 Avantis.

As part of my restoration, I'm putting a new dash pad and as part of that the old glove box felt had to go when the fiberglass dash base was cleaned and painted.

Much to my surprise, I see that S-I now sells pre-cut felt kits in two colors, burgundy or black. I ordered burgundy since my original felt was that color and just received it. It looks pretty neat. There are 5 pieces for the golve box, vanity and pieces for the counsole.

It you want to refurbish your interior give it a try. It's $26, which may seem a lot for felt, but you'll save hours (days?) in trying to make templates and cutting the stuff.
