I'm looking for this car. It was owned by my father and purchased by him in Dec. 1964. It was Avanti gold/orange interior, four speed, supercharged. It was sold in the Dallas, Texas area. We currently own a 63 R1, and would like to find his original and see if it is available to purchase. I have a copy of the original Texas title. It was titled as a 64 model, serial number R4602. Suggest you also ask on the Studebaker Drivers Club site. A lot of SDC members have Avantis.
