Kirby
What does it take to sell a 1984 Avanti in excellent condition? I've advertised off and on for three years and obviously I'm not hitting the correct price. What is the correct price?
Ernie
The "Black Book" National Auto Research ( www.BlackBookUSA.com ) dated March-April 2007, lists the 1984-1985 Avanti Coupe as: #4 (Fair - Presentable condition. Runs and drives and will state pass safety inspection. Maybe a daily driver. Generally in need of cosmetic restoration, but not a "basket case." It may have a replacement engine.) $7,275 #3 (Good - Very nice condition. In fact, most casual observers would describe the vehicle as excellent. It is a good show car, very little wear and are driven sparingly. Many are used as weekend drivers. Older restorations are this category.) $13,000 #2 (Excellent - Nearly perfect condition. All components are original or exact replacements. Trailer Queen.) $20,275 Hope this helps.
