[Original? parts catalog 1963 parts catalog]

Please forgive me if I have posted in the wrong area. I have recently found, in my garage, an original copy of the Studebaker Avanti chassis and body parts catalog...December 1963. I used to own a '77 Avanti II but I don't remember buying this book. Anyway if anyone is interested in it please contact me. We can work out a suitable value for the book. It is in really good condition.Better photo available through email...I also have an original Avanti Workshop Manualit is in very good condition as well.

Hi all,

I am a new owner of a 1977 Avanti II, it was sort of a sad acquisition because the original owner my dear friend passed away, but he left me the car. It is in pretty good shape, some electrical issues. Original 350 'vette engine new paint and interior...red velour 8)

The trunk has an electric push button in the glove box, the fuse there kept blowing and the trunk wouldn't open. After finding the problem got the button to work but the mechanism in the trunk was not engaging, finally got the trunk opened and working.....Anyway I am just learning these cars and I went to check under the tire cover but I can't get the damn cover off!!!!???? it seems there is some sort of latch but anyway I try it doesn't release the cover. Is there some trick to these things???? I would really appreciate some help, feeling really stupid.

Reverse lights don't work, interior lights don't work...other small issues but really enjoy driving this car. My friend Ed loved his Avanti's over the years and I am proud to drive his "ride".

By the way anyone know where the reverse light switch is located on this car. I believe it is a Turbo 400 trans but not positive.
