  1. I received this information and perhaps someone is interested. I can send photos of the contents upon request. email: mbarany@cox.net

I have 7 brand new 80's Avanti brochures, in original unopened envelopes from the factory with the order forms, (1981 order forms) options list, etc. I would like Avanti enthusiasts to get them. Will sell them for $20 each if you know of anyone wanting one. My phone number is 315-521-1688 (cell).I can mail them for $2.50 each, or make a package deal on the lot of them. Here's what they look like, I removed one set from the envelope for these photos:Gerry AcquilanoGeneva, NYgerrya@linkny.com

  3. Thanks Ken...they are Daytons. I have the original Dayton wire wheel spare WW tire and four Dayton wire wheels on WW tires.

They also say not to use a impact wrench on the wheels. Is this true?

I had Dayton wire wheels on my 1979 Avanti. The reason you do not want to use an impact wrench is that the aluminum spacer in the wheel hub can easily crack. Mine did when I was removing the wheel and it poped out and hit the garage floor! The spacer is or can become very brittle.
