Have a varied car collection ranging from an all original 1928 Pierce Arrow Coupe to a 1988 Porsche 930 Cabriolet-but the Studebaker Avanti has always been my magnificent obsession, currently owning three-an original '63 R1 4 speed a/c car; a '63 R1 automatic with 43K miles that I first spotted in 1969, chasing the original owner down on my bicycle on the way home from school and purchasing from him 38 years later in 2007; as well as a totally original '64 turquoise/turquoise R2 that I am the third owner of. Hoping an R3 will be in my future.
