I am thinking about selling my 1979 Avanti II. It has about 37,000 miles and I had a new exhaust put on it. One of the hog troughs is bad and 2 years ago we started to work on painting it. We have not made much progress in that area so I'm thinking of selling it. Does anyone know what a project car like this should bring? It does run and I drove it up until 2 years ago. It has the Nardi wheel and Ricarro leather seats. Any thoughts or ideas would be great.

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy the material that seals the sunroof and the roof opening for my 1979 Avanti II. We are painting the car and need to replace the felt and rubber ring. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you're referringto the black rubber units...I have a good used one.

They weren't available for awhile from the normal vendors...I don't know it that has changed.

Thanks for getting back to me. I'll pass the info along to the gentleman who stopped by and asked me. How should he contact you if he is interested. I don't know the man I only met him the one time he happened to drive by and he saw my Avanti II in my drive. I told him I was a member of the club and would try to find some info for him. Does anyone know where door sills can be purchased for the 63 Avanti? I have a 1979 Avanti II but someone who has a 63 asked me if I knew where to find a drivers side door sill. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
