  1. I have a 1972 Avanti II with a rear window defogger that no longer works.

Is there a replacement motor or unit that would fit in the opening?

Does anyone sell the blower motor in the plastic "box" like the one that came on the car?

Thank you very much for your assistance!!!

  2. I would like to replace the "rubbery feel" steering wheel on my 1972 Avanti II with some sort of custom unit like Grant or LeCarra.

Has anyone done this? What kind of column adapter kit did you use? I like the look of my stock steering wheel but the grain is

pretty much smoothed out on most of it.

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you very much!!

  3. I'm working on the wiring on my 1972 Avanti II and I have a question about the green with black tracer wire that goes from the passenger side solenoid terminal up into the wiring harness. I discovered that this green with black tracer wire had been cut about two or three feet into the harness and goes

nowhere. Where should this wire go and what is its function?

Thank you very much for your assistance!!!

  4. I am trying to remove the underdash portion of the air conditioner in my 1972 Avanti II

and I don't know how to do it. (I don't even know the proper name for this part!!)

Surely I don't have to cut the console to remove it.

Also, what are the relatively small flex hoses that run through the front part of the console?

Thanks in advance for your help!!!

  5. I am the owner of a 1972 Avanti II with a factory four speed and I am doing some cleaning and detailing

underneath the car. I have a couple of questions. It appears that I have 3 fuel lines running back to the

gas tank and I am not sure what the function of that many lines would be. I would also like to know if my

    car has flanged axles.

Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge.
