Still looking for an 87? My father passed away in Southern Missouri near Arkansas border last summer and we dont want to bring his back to Wisconsin. It's on a Chevy chassis and not a convertible. Red. Needs woodgrain interior on dash and counsel repaired or replaced and a little work on ceiling. He drove it down there from Wisconsin when he moved 15 years ago. Looks like it also needs work on the fiberglass hood. I believe it's under 100,000 miles. We need to get the wheels back on after replacing a caliper next time we are down there from Wisconsin, probably late this month or early November.
He had 6 cars total, and we've managed to get 3 out of there and driven back to Wisconsin, 3 left to go. Which is why the Avanti hasn't been started but he had notes all over the house to start the Avanti so I know he kept it in driving condition with notes on oil change miles, etc. Let me know if you're interested, and I could dig up the pics I have and take more when I'm down there next. It could be a great winter project! I had a cousin want to buy it to build a rat rod and I'm like using an Avanti?? I just can't condone that lol. Thanks!
