Supercharged2004

Hi - I have a 2004 Convertible with a Supercharged LS1 - I love the car with all the power. But I believe in keeping a car as original as possible. I am no longer a speed demon, like I was as a kid. My son likes to push it. I Just enjoy cruising. I like them the way they were built. I would recommend in keeping the car stock and upgrade to a newer one. If you are looking for more power. I will never sell mine. I will leave it to my Granddaughter. But if you are looking to sell, I might be interested. I like them stock. Just my opinion. Rich

Hi to all and thanks to everyone that attended the meet in Detroit. It was my first Avanti meet and I had a GREAT time. I would like to Thank everyone that attended for making me feel so comfortable and welcome. A special thanks to Harvey Snitzer for running a fantastic event. I would also like to thank John Hull for all his help and information. I had a fantastic time and all the attendees were friendly and enjoyable to talk with. After my fist experience with this event I will be attending every possible meet that I can make . Once again THANKS to all involved in putting this event together and all that attended. Hi John - To add photos from your phone - go to you AOAI site on your phone and sign on then you do just what you did to put your ad up on the AOAI site. once you click on reply. On the bottom left where you write the ad it says choose filles - click on that and your phone will walk you thru the rest

Wow - Thanks for the information. been searching the web for information and found very little. Mine is a Firebird based Avanti. I have had mine for only a little over a year. Best investment I ever made. Love this car. I purchased it while on vacation in Florida Keys. Delivered to me in New Jersey in June 2023. My first road trip was back to Key Largo Florida and spent several months touring the Keys. My Avanti was a hit there. I appreciate your input and just out of curiosity are you selling your car for the buy it now price?

Never been to Detroit - Bought my Avanti to drive and enjoy, not leave parked in my garage. I do not figure they would have a meet in an unsafe area, so I booked the event. I am looking forward to attending and seeing other Avanti's and meeting other owners. I have been to many cars shows in N.J. / N.Y. / and Florida Keys - I was always the only Avanti attending. Would be nice to see other Avanti's. As I would be interested in possibly acquiring another, not being sure what I would like, it could give me and idea in what direction I should head. I currently have a small car collection, which I alternate driving to keep the mileage down on my Avanti, my Avanti is my personal favorite. My kids both have claims on my other cars but have no interest in my Avanti. I guess it will go to my granddaughter

Hi aardvark - I was the one asking how many supercharger variants were made can’t seem to find an answer. I have seen photos of others with the supercharger badge - but they were all yellow. But without a vin # I am unsure if they are early photos of mine . Mine had been customized with earlier Avanti front marker lights added later.

I'm from New Jersey and will be attending will there be any other Gen 3 Avanti's showing up?

Does anyone know how many were made with the Supercharged Variation
