Make them yourself is probably the easiest way.

In the lower picture, the nut is missing. The vent window should have two of these adjustment bolts/nuts: One in the to and one in the bottom. In your case the top one should be completely in and the bottom one out, then locked with the nut. The missing bolt is needed also. Have a look in the manual for details.

Okay, I've used a piece of the a-pillar seal. Works great, no more leaks!

I redid all the seals in my '69 Avanti II. No leaks except the hinge side of the doors. I applied the seals that are sold in the usual shops. On pictures on the internet, I see one mystery seal I do not have nor can find it anywhere. Does someone can give me more info on this part? Can I make it myself or buy somewhere? Thanks!

WANTED: Door Sill rubber pads mounting material

I'm sorry, Dwight, but I think your ancestors drank too much on the boat from Europe to the promised land, causing them to forget how to use commas and periods. Just so you know: Since no one responded, out of desperation I bought a Studebaker Avanti solution. The advantage is that this solution holds the carpet better. I'm happy with it. -
When I read those instructions, I concluded that the seal furthest away in the photo is facing the right direction. That is how I did it on my car, anyway, and it looks neat.

I would block the hot side and see what happens.

The front is to low, the rear looks good to me.

Yeah, I replaced all seals and felt but the window has still a lot of play. Seems so by design.

And, did the strip stop the rattle? It didn't on my car...

Little bit cheaper over here, in the Netherlands: https://ccparts.nl/winkel/?s=avanti

Good point! These were the only ones I could not change, the body is in the way. Does someone knows a trick?

I know, but the price and product are completely out of balance for me. I don't necessarily need new ones either; good used ones are nicer. -
Before I placed this grommet, my right shoe was toasted. With grommet, this was over. Get one or make one yourself from a grommet you've laying around.

Nice, I did the same thing. Cleaning is the best solution. Only watch out for the spring while opening the switch 🙂

I also run manifold vacuum. Edelbrock intake and carb on a 350.

Probably not 😞 I'm in for this too, so did you succeed? I'm also wondering about the vent window front seal: Are left and right symetric or not?

This is due to the construction of the gauge: It is a balance between the voltage of the battery and the resistance of the temp sender. I would suspect the temp reading here. check temp sender and gauge!
