Carter manufactured AFBs thru 1972, a lot of the last ones being for marine applications. The factory closed in 1984/1984 timeframe. We already know that 1969 isn't correct, and probably 1984 isn't correct since the factory closed at that point. So it's either 1974 or 1979. I'll say 1979 and see what happens.
