mfg Posted February 9, 2023 Report Share Posted February 9, 2023 Anyone in the New England area remember seeing an (at the time) engineless 'Avanti Red' '63 Avanti with an exceptionally nice original exterior/ interior? (was R2, four speed car) This Avanti would be memorable because someone had removed the "X" member from the frame.....no idea what its owner had in mind! I looked at the car at a Ford dealer in Wakefield, Mass several years ago..they were trying to sell the Avanti and three other nice, low mileage Studes in a package deal.
