So what was Studebaker's 'secret' way of increasing engine temperature in Avantis operated exclusively in cold weather conditions ?

(Not a higher temp thermostat!)

Wondering how you would slow the flow of coolant? giving a hotter water flowing through the motor, how about a different size water pump pully?

WOW!...I think that change in water pump pulley diameter is a very interesting thought!:o......However, that isn't the answer to this!:(

Any other thoughts on this one?.....HINT...Internal engine!!
