Jim M Posted October 15, 2021 Report Share Posted October 15, 2021 I have a 1963 R1 Avanti. Can anyone ID this part for me. I can’t seem to figure out what it is from the parts catalog. I need to replace the green wire (mice chewed though it). The wire goes to the ignition coil on the other end. And as you can see the wire isn’t attached with a nut but pushes on with with the L shaped ending which is attached to the end of the wire. Is that kind of attachment standard? Peddler Posted October 16, 2021 Report Share Posted October 16, 2021 While the engine is cranking that green wire delivers full battery voltage to the coil to boost voltage.
