'65-'66 Avanti Carbs

Nope...Avanti Motors was installing Carter AFB's for the first couple of years. Corvettes didn't get Quadrajets until '68 so Avanti Motors would have transitioned following that. While Avanti Motors was installing AFB's on the 327/300 crate engines they bought from GM, Corvettes were using Holley carbs on the same engines. It seems strange to do it that way, but either the Avanti people were comfortable with the AFB or it may simply have been a cost matter.

My 67 with 327 300 hp. have a holley 3810

And it should have!....Between the time the Carter was discontinued and the Rochester was picked up, some Avanti ll's were equipped with Holleys carbs from the factory.
