They're the sanctioning body for land speed records at Bonneville. I would hope they keep such records. The US Auto Club (USAC) may be able to help as well. attrite1 Posted July 24, 2008 Report Share Posted July 24, 2008 (edited) Those numbers don't make a lot of sense to me as most R3 engines had a BXXX or Ax designation. There were 4 EXxxxx numbers too! I would urge you to go to the Racing Studebakers website with this post and Alan or Dave Bloomberg might be able to help. There's a discussion there right now about Jet City Studebaker and Corbin Walters/Jim Pepper who designed and built that engine.
