Retested my 71 Avanti friday night and ran a best ever of 14.66 @ 92. The change from 3.31 to 3.73 rear axle helped a good 5/10's.

Got the rear shocks from Auto Zone. Their number is 82103. Nice quality shock that fits perfect. No install problem. Ride is much, much better now. The number on the rear shock itself is 739103.

Ok, the lever then from the turbo 350 might reach the 200R4 then if GM put the selector lever on the trans in the same location. The rear of the lever that connects to the shifter itself has some adjustment control to move the lever forward or backwards. I would think you have enough to reach it but you want really know until it is installed.

I converted my 71 Avanti B/W to a turbo 350 and had to modifify the linkage by extending it to reach the transmission selector. Had to add a good 3-4 inches to make it longer. Does that 200R4 have throttle valve control or vacumn modulator control?

Thanks for the numbers. I will check them out.

Just put some new shocks on my 71 Avanti front. Made a big difference in ride and handling. Advance store computer had no problem on a list number for the front. Number is KYB 343127. Only surprise is the lower support arm in the shock is shorter than required and requires a large washer to provide holding support. Other than that the fit and ride is very nice. No number from Adavance Store for the rear shocks which I need.

Spent the day replacing a sagging rear driver side spring. Driver side fender well was a good 1 inch lower than the passenger side on curb side viewing. Used a 61 Lark Cruiser spring. Perfect fit and now perfect ride height.
