Members, who is suggested to rebuild the calipers on my 64 R2? One caliper just started leaking and it is time to have both sides rebuilt. Please advise who is satisfied with whomever did work for them.

The work Dave T does is beautiful. I have relied on him for years for parts, service, rebuilds and exchanges. Also an encyclopedia of information.

I have 3 of them beautifully restored by Dave Thibeault. One of 4 that Dave did years ago is perfect even after driving 3500 miles .

best health in 2021 and of course works for the car. Just my feeling about the Turner system, I converted my 73Avanti II to the Turner system. After the expenses involved, I did not really feel any difference.

Toll Brothers has a few high end developments in NJ too. No need for me to move as I have a 3 car garage and a lift for both Studebakers

with my Avanti R2 and my 63 and 64 Hawks, I really watch mileage. I take a cell picture when I gas up and just watch the mileage. Sometimes a full tank is really full, othertimes, I think Im driving on fumes

Billy, regarding the dash pad from Dan Booth, is that the material type that adhere on top of the original dash that was molded plastic? Im just curious as years ago when I had an Avanti II and the original dash was cracked on top, I bought a black carped type pad that used velcro to secure it to the top of the dash

If not mistaken, Dave Thibeault has them. BTW he is home post op after having hip surgery. He is going well and in great spirits.

Georger, thank you for that. In addition, I did not explain how to get out.............that would certainly deter your enthusiasm to look for the fuses

open the door wide, lay on your back, wiggle and wiggle in with your head just about by the brake pedal, turn left and look a bit up, take a flashlight and probably wear a pair of glasses to protect your eyes and often stuff ends up just wear it should not

Studequest, I too had Jon Meyer rebuild my control valve on my 64 R2. He is very happy with original stuff, doesn't like replacement stuff that isn't OEM.

I ordered 4 and received them today also individually mailed. Beautiful and great quality prints and paper. 3 were gifts & I was for me. Upon reflection, Ill keep 3 and gift 1.
