There are six (6) moulding strips around the rear window. Are they available anywhere? I especially need the Part #1360813 MOULDING, left, side reveal and maybe the Part #1350470 MOULDING, right, lower reveal. But, I would consider a complete set. Thanks!

[64 Avanti Fuel Pump rebuilding process?]

We are trying to overhaul the fuel pump from a 64 Avanti and are having trouble getting the pin out to remove the arm. Is there a simple trick to this process or do we need to take it to a professional?

[64 Avanti Muffler]

Can anyone tell me what is the actual length of an original 64 Avanti muffler? I bought an aftermarket stainless steel complete exhaust system and my mechanic is having trouble installing it. Before he starts cutting on the pipes I want to make sure that the muffler itself is correct.

[64 Avanti Red - Need formula?]

Look until you find it. That's the most gorgeous color ever sprayed onto an Avanti. (I'm talking about the 1963-64 almost metallic red that I used to call "burnt red", not the later opaque red reds)

I know, but no one has come up with anything yet. I took an original dealer book with the paint, interior, and carpet samples yesterday for them to try and match. I also took a couple of parts from the car, but they are just too old. We're still working on it. I wish someone could give us the original color code and/or formula.

I am in the process of restoring a 64 Avanti and the local Sherwin Williams Automotive Finishes group does not have the formula to match the Avanti Red. Can anybody help?
