head light rim color 84 touring coupes

Can anyone tell me if the headlight rims on the 84 touring coupes were black or body color I have seen them both ways which is correct? Thanks

Mine are black but so is the body.

My old 84 had body color headlamp buckets with no covers. My present 84 has body colored buckets and clear covers held on with chrome or stainless rims.

I missed the touring coupe part. Neither of mine was a touring coupe...

Looking at the Avanti registry I see several touring coupes with black headlight rings and several with body color. I like it better with body color...
